The best high school teams in the country compete in Melbourne across three days in May. Winners represent Australia at the NBA Rising Stars Invitational Finals in Singapore.
The NBA Rising Stars Invitational Australian Qualifier is the inaugural national tournament to select the boys' and girls' high school teams who will represent Australia at the 2026 RSI Finals in Singapore.
Held at the State Basketball Centre in Melbourne across 8–10 May 2026, the Qualifier brings together eight of the country's top boys' First V teams and five of the top girls' First V teams, selected from states and territories across Australia.
The winners fly to Singapore to compete against high school sides from Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines and more — for the chance to be crowned the best school team in the Asia-Pacific region.
